Kick-starting the project

The launch meeting was attended by the seven partners of the reWINE project to define each one's responsibilities and begin to organise the activities to be completed during the first stages of the project. More specifically, a review was made of the objectives and structure of the project, and the management procedures and communication established to ensure correct development over upcoming years.

For the implementation of the first activities, the next steps were defined for a study of the producer market, waste treatment plants, restaurants and distributers, as well as a market study of the potential for recycling wine bottles on the Catalan market. They also debated the design and operation of the tests for the wine bottle washing process.
