Albet i Noya and Veritas join the reWINE pilot test
For each bottle of Petit Albet Black and White that consumers return to Veritas establishments they will be paid 10 cents.
From june, the winery Albet i Noya and the chain of supermarkets Veritas participate in the pilot test of a system of reuse of wine bottles. Therefore, they join the four Catalan wineries -Falset Marçà, La Vinyeta, Talcomraja and Vins Pravi Cooperative- , the 50 restaurants and the 10 shops throughout the Catalan territory that have already been part since last July.
With these two new additions, the project will be able to recover more wine bottles and achieve the goal of reusing about 100,000 bottles, which is estimated to be able to avoid about 45 tonnes of glass packaging waste.
The way it works is very simple: consumers who buy a bottle of Albet and Noya that contains the reWINE brand can return the bottle to the establishments of Veritas. For each bottle they return, they will be paid 10 cents.
This promotion will be valid until December 31, 2019 at the following shops Veritas de Barcelona: Mandri street, 15; Paseo Sant Joan, 144; Còrsega street, 302; Diputació street, 247, and L’Illa Diagonal Shopping Center.
